Medication

Alll travelers should consult with their physician or update on vaccination requirements Cholera, Typhoid, Tetanus and hepatitis. None of this shot are require for entry into Nepal, but we recommend that you get inoculations or boosters for these before travelling. For hepatitis, the Hemoglobin injection should be taken as close to departure.

Altitude Sickness
A mixture of problems like headache, noose, shortness of breath tiredness encountered at high altitude above 3,000 Mts. because of the less oxygen, low Pressure, rapid ascent, possibly dehydration and hypothermia. Mild symptom of sickness. Not feeling well, Tiredness, short of breath, loss of appetite sleeping disturbance and dizziness. It can be happen after 1-3 days of arrival in the altitude then increasing shortness of breath at rest, severe cough-dry very tried, High pulse rate

I.e. 110 blueness of face, lip, fingers nails-that mean inability to transport oxygen into the blood. It can be happen after 2 night of arrival in the altitude. The last severe symptoms of altitude sickness: -Severe headache, vomiting, walking like a drunk, mental confusion, irritable unconsciousnessPrevention
Acclimatise in high altitude, walking slowly, drinking more water or fluid, carry small back pack, climb high sleep lower, don’t walk alone and no alcohol, sleeping pills, and smoking.Treatment
For the altitudes sickness, there is no medicine but if any body suffering by sickness better way to take lower altitude as soon as possible. Some medicine can help like a oxygen, Diamox for mild symptoms. Nafedipine for second Symptom Steroids / Dexamthasone for severe symptoms and Hyperbolic bag (Gammow Bag)

Insurance
We strongly recommend that you take out baggage loss, accident and trip cancellation Insurance. Trip cancellation insurance should reimburse you any non-recoverable air or land expenses should you have to cancel your trip due to personal or family illness as well as cover any emergency evacuation expenses should you become ill during the trip.
