The trail leads upstream along the Arun Koshi across the terraced fields and villages to reach Chichira. We leave the main trail and cross the Arun River to Tashi Gaon. We go upstream to Makalu Base Camp. Then we cross the 3 difficult passes of the Sherpani Pass (6110m.), West Col (6135m.) and Mingbo La (5817m.).
